1. The first thing you’ll want to do before going to Windows 10 is take a screenshot of the settings on each of the old PC’s so you can see how each device is setup and you can replicate the settings on each new PC.
  2. When loading ScanCARE into a blank machine you’ll want to create a shortcut onto the desktop for ScanCARE. Once that’s done, you’ll need to add the ScanCARE prod site to trusted sites zone and turn off compatibility settings, this will allow you to install and run the guardian service.
  3. In ScanCARE select the Blue Question mark down the bottom , from there if .Net 3.5 is already installed you should be able to select “Download Guardian Agent Configuration”, Make sure to download this as Administrator so it saves for the CSSD users.
  4. Once you’ve installed it and it’s running in services Reboot the computer, login as the user and check site is in trusted sites and guardian version is detected in the guardian configuration screen next to “Guardian Version:”.
  5. For drivers, if the Windows 10 update isn’t done through upgrade assistant and the drivers aren’t automatically reinstalled then you can go to http://www.prolific.com.tw/us/showproduct.aspx?p_id=225&pcid=41 and install this prolific driver.
