Why is the black ribbon sticking to the label when printing out of my BP744 printer? Print

Answer: The carbon roll has become loose

To fix this do this:

(Firstly ensure the printer you are troubleshooting has 2 buttons on the top, if it has only 1 button it is a BP745 printer)

Open the printer by clicking the buttons on each side and tighten the front spindle, close the lid

Initialize the printer by going through Printer Initialization and Gap Sensor Calibration

Printer Initialization is done by turning off the printer power, holding down the PAUSE and FEED buttons and turn on the printer power, do not release the buttons until the three LEDs flash in turn.
Gap Sensor Calibration is done by turning off the printer power, hold down the PAUSE button then turn on printer power, release PAUSE button when the printer feeds labels. Do not turn off the printer power until the printer stops and two green LEDs light on.

Turn the printer back on and click the FEED button for 2 seconds then try printing a label.
